Microsoft was forced to remove advertising PUBG because of accusations of plagiarism

Shortly before the release of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One, one of the users of Reddit published their amateur version of the game on the console, using popular art and the image itself Xbox.

Apparently, the user’s work was so successful that a very similar option was then used for official promotion of the game. Outraged user immediately told about this situation, and he quickly contacted the head of the software department Xbox Live Larry Grib, known as the nickname Major Nelson.

According to him, Microsoft took up the search for the roots of the problem, and the company’s official channels immediately removed the advertising poster. Of course, there is a possibility that the surprising similarity of artes turned out to be accidental, but it is very difficult to believe in it. Compare yourself.

The fan work, which we carried to the news cap, was, by the way, much better than the official version.
